Painted Lady and Friends

A lovely bright floaty ponge silk square celebrating some of our beautiful butterflies. The scarf measures 90 cm. along its edge, it has a hand rolled finish and wee beads have been added at the corners. Colours of copper, apricot, indigo, sap green, chocolate and straw. The design has been painted with fibre reactive dyes and some parts have been defined with a pearlised outliner. Peacock, ringlet and small tortoiseshell are the friends, spotted on a path in the Lomond Country Park in Fife.
