This medium weight habotai square was inspired by a visit to the south of the Isle of Skye in September. The walk from Loch Slapin to the foot of Bla Bheinn, the "blue mountain" is very pleasant and the colours when I was there in early autumn were so lovely. The crystal waters of the small burn were refreshingly cold. This luxurious silk square measures 90 cm along the edge and has been created using a stencilling technique with fibre reactive dyes. The scarf has hand rolled edges. Colours of navy, cobalt, gold, pale turquoise, rust and amethyst, bronze and heather.
