This fine georgette silk scarf has hand rolled edges and tiny beads added at the corners. The scarf measures 43 x 152 cm and the material hangs and drapes nicely and this is a very wearable colourful scarf. With a wild flower design inspired by photos of the edges of paths in the hills around the Spittal of Glenshee, bright vibrant colours sing out against a more muted background. Colours of  pure yellow, magenta, lime, rose pink, purple, scarlet and grey. A gutta resist method has been used and some lines have a pearlised outliner applied. As well as the beautiful bird's-foot-trefoil there is speedwell, bell heather, cowberry, leaves of alpine lady's mantle, bitter vetch, thyme, ribwort plantain and a silver birch seedling.
