April Pheasants

Having daily local walks inspired the design for this scarf. I live on the edge of an estate that has numerous pheasants wandering about and for the first time I spotted (very hard to miss really) a male pheasant with pure white feathers. I since learned it is not as uncommon as I thought. So here are a few of the feathered characters that I often encounter on my daily half hour exercise. The scarf has been created using a gutta resist technique with cold water dyes. Details have been added with pearlised outliners.
