Bright colours on a lovely medium weight habotai silk that have been applied using just a brush and cold water dyes. A few years ago I travelled between Fife and the Isle of Skye several times in one year. To see the country in different seasons and all types of weather was a real joy and privilege and I was able to take a lot of inspiration from what I saw. Such stunning scenery is crying out to be painted. I was lucky to get some photos of this lovely little cottage near the wee village of Morvich and the wonderful reflections of the mountains.What a beautiful area of Scotland.
