I was lucky to have several visits up close with the polar bears at the Highland Wildlife Park. It felt amazing to see this wondeful mother and her cub so close-up. Her expression so caring, his so cheeky.

The painting has been done on a medium weight silk with cold water dyes and a resist technique.
