Pretty brooch made from feathers found while out walking in the Scottish countryside. Bound with string, with a white chiffon silk centre and an array of feathers in white and brown, and a brooch pin attached.

These are not bought or donated feathers, they have been picked up when they caught my eye, from moulting birds or other natural causes, not all are totally pristine, but the colours, patterns and textures are special. A beautiful feather cannot be ignored and creating these pieces means they can be appreciated for their beauty.
