Inspirational

Remember to find joy in the tiny things.

Colour inspires me and the massive landscapes that can be explored in Scotland are jaw droppingly awesome and beautiful. I have fallen in love with the Cairngorms and so at the moment a fair bit of my work is influenced by their charms. Below is a collection of images taken on my wanderings before March 2020.

For ideas for walking routes in Scotland a great place to look is Walkhighlands.

For help in identifying plants and learning more about them I use Plantlife Scotland, the British Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland and Scottish Natural Heritage.

A site dedicated to Scottish wildflowers is worth a look too.

If you are interested in trying silk painting yourself a good supplier is Rainbow Silks.

And there are some wonderful articles in the cairngormwanderer wordpress blog.
